Me

— About me (brace yourself) —

Three words to describe me:

ADHD. Straight talk. Off the beaten path.

Hi, it’s Nicolas. Yes, you’re really reading the “About” page of an IT company.
No, it’s not by accident.

— The man behind the logo —

Nicolas Hansmann.
27 years in IT.
Zero interest in boring you.

I got into IT at an age when most people were still discovering the Caps Lock key. I founded SafeMode in 2002 and have seen hundreds of SMBs, dying servers, and managed-service contracts that would deserve a journalistic exposé.

Then AI came along. Not the LinkedIn-influencer AI with a hat. The real one. The one that turns half a day’s work into a Teams meeting. The one that drafts your customer reminders while you have a coffee.

So I pivoted SafeMode. And here’s what I do now: I audit your IT, propose the 2026 solutions, and clear out everything that’s useless.

— What I’m not —

To avoid misunderstandings.

Not a salesman.

If I tell you something is useless, that’s free. If I tell you something will change your life, I’ll bill you for it.

Not a typical IT provider.

I don’t make a living off your Windows server. I make a living making it disappear. Sadly, that changes everything.

Allergic to false good ideas.

“That’s how we’ve always done it” isn’t a sentence. It’s a management failure. I like saying it out loud.

Not a yes-man.

If your IT idea is bad, I’ll tell you. If it’s good, I’ll tell you too. Not complicated.

— And so, the ADHD —

It’s my secret weapon.

ADHD: seeing 12 connections where you see 2, sensing the solution before the problem is done being explained, viscerally rejecting useless processes, and loving new topics.

Straight talk: if something’s wrong, I’ll tell you. No fluff, no fake politeness. You know what you’re getting into.

Off the beaten path: I don’t do what everyone else does. If everyone installs the Windows server in the closet, I propose something else. That’s precisely what you’re paying me for.

In short. The worst partner for handling accounting. The best for rethinking your IT.

Still here?
Right. Let’s meet.

If you’ve made it this far, we’re compatible.
Heads up : I only take sexy projects. But yours sounds like one.
